The Venere Azzurra Beach

Venere Azzurra is a location just a few minutes’ walk from the center of Lerici. The coastline, backed by a lush green hillside, offers travelers a spacious sandy beach, free but well-equipped, where umbrellas, sunbeds, and pedal boats can be rented. Visitors can also enjoy numerous food stands and small bars, which remain open in the evening.
Marinella Beach

The medieval village of San Terenzo, protected by a small castle, boasts one of the most beautiful beaches along the Gulf of La Spezia. While most tourists stop at the sandy shoreline in front of the village, only the most curious venture to the nearby Marinella Beach, located just behind the town. This small cove, embraced by the cliff that supports the castle and topped with Mediterranean scrub, features a free beach—partly sandy, partly made up of large rocks—washed by crystal-clear waters that amaze every visitor with their unexpected and untamed beauty.
Baia Blu Beach

Baia Blu is a small cove located within the municipality of Lerici. The beach is accessible on foot by walking down a steep road starting from the area of Pozzuolo. Once you reach the shore, the golden sandy beach, the crystal-clear, sparkling sea, and the steep cliffs surrounding the area leave visitors breathless. The beach is divided into three sections: one with free access to the sea, one that is free but equipped, and finally, a large beach resort that features a spacious swimming pool, a small bar, and a charming restaurant overlooking the sea.
Beach on Palmaria Island

It is located directly across from Porto Venere and is home to the equipped free beach “Il Gabbiano,” the largest on the island. The beach consists of a mix of sand and pebbles, surrounded by maritime pines. On the seabed grows Posidonia, which provides shelter for many fish and other marine organisms.

For car parking, you can look for spots near the departure point along Viale Italia, or use the Porto Mirabello parking area. From there, by crossing the Thaon di Revel Bridge, you can reach the boat departure point in just a few minutes. Parking is more likely to be available in this area.
