VIOLATORS WILL BE PUNISHED UNDER PARAGRAPH 2 OF ARTICLE 30 OF LAW 394/91 AND AMENDMENTS. « On the trails, it is mandatory to wear closed shoes, with a textured and non-slip sole, preferably waterproof and ankle-covering. »
  • Don’t forget to pack the necessary items for possible emergency situations, along with a small first aid kit.
  • Do not go on a hike alone, and in any case, inform a trusted person of the route you plan to take.
  • If you have any doubts about the path, turn back. Sometimes it’s better to give up than to risk bad weather. It is also reminded that it is prohibited to hike on the trails in adverse weather conditions, as it may endanger your safety and the safety of others.
  • IN CASE OF YELLOW WEATHER ALERT, the park through its communication channels advises against accessing the trail network and reserves the right to stop selling the Cinque Terre Trekking Card depending on the weather conditions (both at sales points and online purchase options).
  • IN CASE OF ORANGE/RED WEATHER ALERT, the park announces that access to the entire trail network is prohibited, and the sale of all types of Cinque Terre Card services is suspended (both at sales points and online purchase options).
  • Always bring your waste back down and prefer a water bottle over plastic bottles.
  • Respect the flora and fauna. Respect local cultures and traditions.
  • Never leave the marked trail.
